First thing first - STOP reading here if you are not interested in growing your business. Secondly this article doesn't sell anything, it promotes fair and result oriented marketing.

My personal belief is that we are surrounded by abundance of business opportunities and all sides involved in the business should win:

You as a business owner should win, because you - put in your hard work; - carry most of the financials and not only risks; - provide employment to the community.

Your customers should win, because they - genuinely want what you have to offer whether it is a product or a service.

The only problem is that they don't know how good your offer is, since you either don't know about the customers who want your product or don't know how to design your offer to be irresistible enough.

You've heard the saying, "I'm the master of my own destiny!".... anyone care to explain why? In my opinion we have control of our thoughts and our thoughts are what make us who we are.

As we desire so we think. As we think so we speak. As we speak so we act. As we act - leads to our destiny.

What has marketing to do with thoughts and destiny? Isn't it a bit heavy on personal development - your letter? Well, from my experience, I've learned a long time ago that no matter how good the marketing strategy is, if not implemented as planned and if not persistently followed, any strategy is doomed.

This is not to say that the marketing approach should be inflexible, quite the opposite, by monitoring and measuring we adjust it and achieve the best results.

You see, dear reader, to me there are two main killers of success: 1. Wrong attitude. (Saying *wrong* I mean not success oriented, because I have grown enough to recognise that there is no "good" nor "bad"... everything just is ... we are the ones who makes it one or another) 2. Inaction or analysis paralysis.

Which finally brings us to the point.

Where you are now as a business owner is result of what you were doing in the past, where you are going to be in the future will be the result of what you are doing now. If you are doing now, the same as you were doing in the past, guess where you are going to be in the future...???

The single point of today's newsletter is - whether you like it or not - to get different results, in business or in life generally - one needs to be prepared for a CHANGE. And the first change needs to happen to the ATTITUDE.

I found, and so did many others, that BE comes first, then one can DO, and only then - HAVE.

In the next series of articles I'm going to talk about sales process and physiology beyond each step. Some theories advocate 21 steps sales process; some saying it is 10-step process. I personally believe that the sales process consist of 2 steps only while second one consists of 7 steps. I'm going to expand on each one in the next 8 newsletters, as well as explore the core differences between American and New Zealand sales processes.
